Presentation

  • Context, issues : The association ZimZam develops since 2005 circus activities connected to the public in difficulty on the professional field. The association La Bourguette, manager of specialised institution welcoming people suffering from autism welcome, in the last 5 years the nomadic big top of adults from FAM les Capelière and from the FAM of the Grand Real.
    Every year since 2013, ZimZam, in partnership with La Bourguette, organize its festival (created in 2007) on La Bourguette’s ground: The Fadoli’s Circus. In 3 editions, it’s more than 1500 people who seen the show.
    The associations ZimZam and La Bourguette, willing to get a common space, a circus big top type, to endorse their strong partnership.
     
  • Goals : The goal is to create a unique place in France mixing circus and disability, open to the outside and will anchor durably on its territory.A strong anchorage on a territory in need of cultural places in South Luberon, the cultural places of creation, practice and cultural diffusion are more than rare and disadvantage the inhabitant population by depriving it of places of intellectual opening, exchange and creativity .With this co-portage, the associations La Bourguette and ZimZam wish to open the place, its use and its development to other social, cultural, public or private structures to make it an area of cooperation and sharing. 
  • Targeted audience : This place of practice, of creation, of diffusion will be able to favor the meeting of "distant" publics, in situation of handicap or not. 
  • Actions implemented : Action 1: Installation of the big top on the site of La Bourguette. Purchase of equipment. Creation of an internal prefiguration committee of the place

    Action 2: Development of partnerships with the social and cultural actors of the territory.

    Action 3: Work to recognize the big top as a meeting place, cultural and social exchange throughout the South Luberon.
